Redemption is about God. We believe that human beings were made to know, enjoy and love the living God who has revealed himself in the Bible. We believe that God is worthy of every ounce of our worship every second of every day.
Redemption is about the Gospel. The gospel is the message that Jesus Christ, the sinless God-man, died for sinners to bring them to God. It is through faith in Jesus and what Jesus has done in his death and resurrection that people are rescued from punishment, brought near to the God they were made to know, and renewed to live life as God intended.
Redemption is about people. We seek to love people by telling them about how glorious and great God is and by telling them about the good news of Jesus and His saving work for sinners. Our longing is to see the truth about God and the message of the gospel transform our own lives and the lives of the people around us.
Romans 5:6-8 “For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
